North Shore Synagogue is pleased to offer the opportunity to participate in a bereavement support group for those experiencing grief and loss of a loved one.
When someone you love dies, a parent, spouse partner, child, sibling, or cherished friend, it can be hard to understand complex feelings and thoughts. This group helps people find a “new normal” without the presence of a loved one. Navigating the experience of grief with fellow mourners and a professional facilitator can be invaluable. This program is intended to accompany you on your unique journey.
Based on the best-selling “Understanding Your Grief: Ten Essential Touchstones” by Alan Wolfelt. Each participant will receive a copy of the book.
This 8-week program is facilitated by Beth Bucheister, MA, CPC (Certified Professional Coach). Beth is trained to focus on life’s unexpected challenges and is a graduate of Coaching for Transformation and The Bereavement Support Facilitator seminar at the Center for Loss and Life Transition
Wednesdays, starting in November 2025 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
North Shore Synagogue runs a bereavement support group periodically.
Free for NSS members. $180 for non-members.
