Our 7th grade students meet one time per week for both Hebrew and Judaica classes.
Seventh grade students engage in meaningful conversation about Jewish values and ethical behavior. In essence, they work on becoming good, kind, and loving Jewish people through a curriculum that is value-based and demonstrates the interwoven nature of values through Torah study, through Holocaust education, and through learning about and sharing the profound legacies of the older generations of our own community.
Students also practice, review, and build on their Hebrew and synagogue skills as part of their preparation for becoming bar/bat mitzvah, and engage in topics of discussion that will help them achieve a smooth and successful transition to our high school program and young adulthood.
